Patient engagement is the name of the game, but many product developers are struggling to create health solutions that “stick.” Much of the problem lies in their approach: patients aren’t just patients—they are sophisticated consumers with distinct expectations for the products, services, and brands they choose.
Earlier this month, K:D VP and Director of Design Strategy and Research Ron Pierce led a panel titled “Connecting with Consumers: Creating Health Solutions that Stick” at the 21st Annual Medical Technologies: A Frost and Sullivan Executive MindXchange.
The panel—including Julie Hu, CEO at Lark Technologies; Scott Davie, Senior Director of R&D at Medtronic, and Khan Siddiqui, Co-Founder & CTO at higi—explored best practices for connecting with today’s savvy health consumers. Sharing a framework for understanding how to connect with users, the panel explored strategies for creating “sticky” health solutions that motivate and keep people engaged in the long-term.
